My passion for psychology was ignited by my experiences in social advocacy. Working with various marginalized communities from diverse backgrounds helped me understand how our environment and social realities shape our thoughts, actions, and coping mechanisms in the face of life’s challenges. These experiences also deepened my understanding of how different aspects of our identities, such as race, sexuality, and socioeconomic status, can intersect to create distinct experiences of privilege or discrimination.

Seeking help can sometimes feel daunting, but taking that initial step into therapy is profoundly significant. As your therapist, I aim to cultivate a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you can feel at ease being your true self. I believe that therapy is most effective when it is collaborative and compassionate, and I strive to meet you where you are with care and understanding.
