As a trainee clinical psychologist, I am increasingly dedicated to understanding and supporting mental health throughout various life stages. My interest in clinical psychology was shaped through my initial work with children with special needs. This experience introduced me to the wide range of human development and communication, highlighting the importance of patience, adaptability, and seeing individuals beyond their challenges. These interactions sparked my deeper interest in psychological wellbeing and led me to pursue training in clinical psychology.
In my therapeutic practice, I strive to provide a stable and respectful environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves at their own pace. I understand that starting therapy can be daunting, so I focus on gradually building trust through consistency, empathy, and genuine attention to each person's experience. I conduct sessions with active listening and collaboration, ensuring that clients are actively involved in shaping their therapeutic journey.
My goal is to create an emotionally safe space where thoughts and feelings can be explored without judgment. I aim to help individuals feel understood while supporting them in identifying strengths and developing practical coping strategies. I view therapy as a collaborative process that fosters reflection, growth, and increased self-awareness over time.
