My interest in psychology was sparked by a curiosity from a young age about why people behave the way they do and how individuals can be so different even when sharing similar experiences. My own journey through major life transitions—such as career changes, relationships, shifting friend groups, and personal loss—has shaped my perspective on mental health and highlighted the significance of self-acceptance and resilience.

Through my experiences at the Women’s Aid Organisation, special needs schools, and an LGBTQ-friendly HIV/STD clinic, I have closely engaged with communities that are often misunderstood or marginalized. These experiences taught me the value of empathy, compassion, and the importance of creating a space where individuals feel seen and heard. It has been a privilege to witness the strength of people as they continue to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives, even while facing profound struggles
