I always felt out of place wherever I went, never truly belonging, to the extent that I struggled to fit in, damaging my self-image. It only took deep, genuine conversation with a friend for me to find peace and pride in myself. Since that moment, I've become an advocate for the voiceless, working with refugees, juveniles in detention centers, and children with special needs. They all needed someone to talk to and connect with, and I aim to be that person if we meet.
