Sim Yin Zheng

My journey of becoming a counsellor started when I first encountered peer support and counselling during my undergraduate years. As an introvert, I encountered numerous challenges such as receiving assistance or reaching out for support from others. Through my personal experience, I learned how beneficial counselling can be. Having a safe space to share personal struggles and receive guidance was crucial for personal growth.

In addition to my personal journey, I am interested in exploring how people connect with each other. I am fascinated by the unique ways individuals build relationships. This interest extends to appreciating the diverse qualities each person brings to their connections.

Prioritizing continuous learning, I am open to diverse perspectives and dedicated to staying non-judgmental towards individuals from various populations and backgrounds. My experience also adds another layer to my counselling journey, enriching my ability to foster positive relationships and effective communication. My goal is to contribute to your positive well-being and foster a supportive environment for you.
