“I care about being there for you” is the purpose driving me to be a mental health professional.  

This purpose has guided me on the journey of my becoming. I have for the longest time experienced this unstoppable drive within me, an obligation and obsession even, to step out into the world to discover the meaning of my existence. “What if there is more to life than this?”; to elucidate this existential question, I journeyed to Malaysia in 2016, with the commitment and determination to explore that question.   

As your counsellor, I care about journeying with you as you find meaning in your pain and struggles. I care about being there for you, by holding a safe space of unconditional compassion, for you to experience your emotions in all authenticity, with acceptance and freedom. I care about being there for you, because all we need sometimes is someone to be with us.
