Chooi Jia Wen
As a curious person, I cultivated an interest in contributing to the mental health and well-being of people soon after I experienced similar services. I pursued clinical psychology as I want to be able to support people who are facing mental health difficulties.
From personal experience, I learnt how important it was to have a safe and non-judgemental space that allows one to discover and strive for a version of themselves they genuinely want. As your therapist, I hope to provide a genuine and accepting safe space based on trust and support for you to manage any emotional, mental, or behavioural struggles, at your own pace.
Reaching out for support is not easy, and I wish to join you in discovering your personal values and/or moving towards who you want to be in life, even if it takes some time.
