Since childhood, I have always been dedicated to assisting others through challenging times. Overcoming my own struggles with self-esteem, I have learned the importance of perseverance and resilience in achieving personal goals.
During my Bachelor's degree, I gained a deeper understanding of myself and my aspirations. My lecturer, Mai, played a crucial role in laying the foundation for my journey towards becoming a mental health professional and a compassionate individual. I am grateful for the knowledge and experiences I have gained through my education, and I eagerly anticipate further opportunities to grow and support others in reaching their goals.
Following that, I began working at the victim support department of the Maldives Police Service. Here, I worked closely with vulnerable individuals facing abuse and trauma. This experience highlighted the profound impact of providing support to those in need. I take pride in creating a safe space for individuals to share their thoughts and feelings, helping them navigate through hurdles in life.
My work in the field of mental health has brought immense meaning to my life. My ultimate goal is to lend an empathetic ear to those seeking to be heard and guide them through life's challenges. I am dedicated to supporting individuals in gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and building resilience.
