Hi, I’m Agnes, or as some may call me, “Zhi Yea”—my Chinese name, which means “flower” and “happy.” For a long time, I thought happiness was the only acceptable emotion. However, during my adolescent years, I experienced challenges that taught me to see emotions differently.
As I worked through feelings of anger, sadness, anxiety, and confusion, I learned that emotions aren’t “good” or “bad”—they’re simply how we feel. Emotions simply are—they’re how we feel—and learning to embrace them all has been a transformative journey for me.
I was fortunate to have people who listened to me during my toughest moments, and their support made all the difference. Now, I wish to offer the same compassionate space for others, ensuring no one feels alone in their emotional struggles.
