About Me

While studying in Australia, I had the opportunity to be exposed to a culture where caring for your mental health is a high priority and talked about freely. Although mental health is more widely discussed these days in Malaysia, I wanted to play a role in advocating for mental health and make a difference in the mental health field. Therefore, I decided to pursue my Master’s in Clinical Psychology.

I also had the opportunity to work with children with disabilities, and to volunteer for a child helpline. These opportunities allowed me to become exposed to the many difficulties the children in our community face, and the things we can do to protect and help them flourish. This lit up my desire to be able to do more for the children of our society.

I hope to be able to provide a safe space for clients, where they are allowed to speak freely and to have someone listen to them empathetically and without judgement. Although seeking help may seem scary, I hope to be somebody that is able to walk through the journey of therapy with you.
